So I haven't wrapped up all the loose ends, but I walked in our Rainbow Graduation ceremony this weekend.
It was nice because I got to do it under my chosen name and in my own kind of clothing (more or less) which I didn't think would ever happen. I couldn't make myself go to a ceremony under my birth name, but this was nice! And honestly, it is good to be able to dress up, although I'm learning more and more not to need an excuse.
(It also means that I should end up having my bachelors at 30… which I honestly didn’t really ever expect to happen? It was hard as hell. University is really not made for disabled or brainweird people. And in some ways, I don't think it should have had to happen. I still have a lot of criticisms of how universities work and on the pressure to "have a degree" when it isn't right for everyone.)
But, thought I'd upload some pictures! :D
