cereusYesterday I finally told my mother about Wren and I. She's incredibly smart and she's been seeing us together for a while now and she's had her suspicions. Fortunately (and having seen some of my friend's parents response, I appreciate this a lot) she doesn't care that Wren is female.
It's now her opinion that neither of my relationships could be all that serious because you only care for one person at a time in "that way". Meaning intimacy, you'd give almost anything for each other, etc...
And, granted, she's right in a lot of ways - we don't share finances or live together. Which is the heavy stuff. (But then again, at this point it's almost a case of "what finances?")
But, still...
