Top 100 Speculative Fiction Works - Poll by Eruthros

Remember the NPR “Top 100 SF/F”  list that came out a while back?  That (at least in my opinion, although opinions vary) cane out very white, male, and also boring.  There was a process by which the judges narrowed the selection I don’t fully understand.

Eruthros has gathered nominations for the past two weeks for a list of the top 100 Speculative Fiction works.  It’s very long, so here’s where she’s taking votes to narrow it down to a short list.  Please go vote!  You can also vote with OpenID.

Yeah, the amount of fan-fiction threw me at first, too. Because I don't read a lot of it and I didn't think of it as big of a thing (which I've since re-thought).
But if it was supposed to be based on "what Cereus likes and thinks is worth it" then there wouldn't be a serious poll like this. It would need 1 participant. :P

But yeah, I find it interesting what is and isn't on there, too. Besides de Lint, I'm wondering why is there no Arthur C. Clarke? He was totally over-represented in NPR, but Songs of Distant Earth? The list is kind of fun to just browse over.
