Yeah, the amount of fan-fiction threw me at first, too. Because I don't read a lot of it and I didn't think of it as big of a thing (which I've since re-thought).
But if it was supposed to be based on "what Cereus likes and thinks is worth it" then there wouldn't be a serious poll like this. It would need 1 participant. :P

But yeah, I find it interesting what is and isn't on there, too. Besides de Lint, I'm wondering why is there no Arthur C. Clarke? He was totally over-represented in NPR, but Songs of Distant Earth? The list is kind of fun to just browse over.
